S: Ephesians 2:9 Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it.
O: We all used to live in sin. Following the path of destruction and what the devil has laid out for us. Yet by the grace of God we have been made new and alive through him. He loved us so much (John 3:16) that gave us his son for us to die for us and rose again so that we could be made new in his image. We are saved when we believe in him and that he did all this for us. It iis by his generous grace that this is available to us. The grace that saves is the free, undeserved goodness and favour of God; and he saves, not by the works of the law, but through faith in Christ Jesus. Its nothing that we can boast about because we have done nothing really all that we have to do is believe. It is not from our works but from the works of God so we need to be boasting not in our name but in his. We may not have the Jew and Gentile distinction today but have lots of others. Believe nonbeliever and different cliques and groups that we are apart of in that are in our lives. Since Christ came it doesn't matter what are who we are, it is the same for all of us. He doesn't discriminate who he died for it was for everybody. We are not unified together and can be apart of the same family.
A:I think for me the best to apply is that it doesn't matter how someone is now or how they look that they are still made in Gods image and are equal with us. They can be the same part of Gods family; not matter their past or background that they have.
P: My pray is for me to really look at people and not only for me to look at people in this manner for for all of you guys as well.
