Jesus turned water into wine it's impossible for our human minds to understand. He is showing everybody how great he really is and what he can do.
people were turning God's house into a market so Jesus became angry and broke the market. People and the market ask why do we have to listen to you. He replied saying if they destroy the temple he could rebuild it in three days. The people were confused they said it took 46 years to build the temple and this man is going to build in three days?
Jesus does not need to hear if we are pure or not he knows every person on a personal level. He loves us all endlessly!!

Jesus turned water into wine because he is powerful. We are not to love the things of the world like clothes, shoes, phones whatever it is- those things are not worth as much as having faith in the Lord. The Lord teaches us right from wrong. People are left wondering how he is gonna build the temple in 3 days because the people said it is going to take 46 years to build it! God is greater than anything in this world!

Don't know how I missed that had to look it up online but now it makes sense verse 21-22 explain it. When Jesus died he rose again in 3 days. This prediction is a miracle in disguise.

Jesus starts his ministry phase of His life by turning water into wine and by driving out merchants from the temple. People are now going to start seeing Jesus for truly who He is and what He stands for.
Like Emma said, Jesus is powerful and is going to start showing His power.

Yeah just like everyone else they thought he was crazy but he wasn't talking about the same thing and as normal Jesus was talking in a metaphor in this case about himself. We see Jesus preform is first miracle here. Turning water into wine- the sort of funny thing is it was begged by his mom . Even Jesus could be persuaded by his mom- he told her it wasn't his time yet but he did it anyways why do you think that it was bad for them to run out of wine? they had water left over? did he want them all to have a good time or get drunk or what ? and could you imagine (well some day) like how good the wine that Jesus created was? as it says usually use the good stuff first because at the end its not like it matters to them. but this was different but Jesus' disciples knew what was up. Like how it says as well and his disciples believed in him. All this talk and everything and now they finally get a first hand look at it. had to see it to believe it. Jesus clears the temple? shows us anger? was it just? Good job guys and looking altho he three days. To me its kind of funny or like a footnote vs 22. Had to be written all after the fact like... remember that time he said this oh yeah i guess now it has some meaning.

No I doubt he wanted them all drunk but maybe the water at the time was unsafe to drink who knows?
What's amazing to me is that John remembered that Jesus said he would rise in three days.
Jesus did his job when he was in the temple he punished the wicked. He avenged the righteous. This is not our job it's God's. Our job is to do what John did be kind and let Christ be a light in you.
