Don't let your hearts be troubled we need to trust in him and trust in his plan. He has a plan for all of us and some day we will get to join him- he has a special place for us in Heaven and we also have a special place in his hearts! These first verses then 6 are just the perfect verse for people and telling them- Jesus is the way for us and the only way that we can get to heaven and when we know Jesus and accept him God also accepts us. Even after all this they are confused about the relationship between Jesus and the Fatber but they are one together and if we know one we know the other and have seen them. We can only tell people about him and that's our mission in life- and our duty to display and make others "see God" in is and our actions. We are called to bring glory to his name! When we accept him we gain the Holy spirits who is in us and never leaves us. We gain the Holy Spirit and he guides us- he told then disciples that they would be better off now without him? What do you guys take about this and what does he mean? Did Jesus really leave them?

Jesus is the one that guides our hearts without him we will be lost with nowhere to go but Jesus shows us the way. Jesus is the Father because the Father lives inside of him and we can all see Jesus through the holy spirit.
The Holy spirit is like that fire in us that comes when we truly love Jesus. The Holy spirit makes you hate sin. Jesus left the disciples physically but he sent the Holy spirit so that if the spirit is inside of you it is as if you are with Jesus.
In other words the Holy spirit is the gateway to Jesus, Jesus is the gateway to the Father and the Father is the way to heaven.

John 14 is about the live and patience Jesus had for his disciples. He tells his disciples to continue working, and reassures them that they will soon meet again. Jesus is trying to comfort his disciples. He wants them to believe in him as they believe in God. He explained basically what heaven looks like from what I understand--Jesus continues telling the disciples they will know the way to where he is. One of the people wondered how they would know the way when they get there. Jesus answered saying he is the way, the truth, and the life. No man came to God except through him. Another person wanted Jesus to show him the Father so he might believe. Jesus replied to the man-if they had seen him they had also seen the Father too. Jesus then said that he is the Father- the Father was in him also if that makes any sense. After all of this Jesus told his disciples that they can ask anything through his name and he will answer. Jesus told his disciples that he will not leave them without comfort. He already explained to them what was to come. So when it happend they would believe him. Afterward Jesus told the disciples that his time has come. As people on this earth we are to try to comfort others when they are suffering. They should do the same to us in return.
