Chapter 20 is about how Jesus resurrects. Mary visited the tomb the next day where Jesus was buried. She noticed that the stone that was covering the tomb was rolled over and Jesus was missing. Mary though someone had took Jesus' body somewhere. She ran to the disciples and told them what she had saw. She thought someone took Jesus' body because they wanted honor towards themself. Simon, Peter, and John run to the tomb and see that Jesus is missing. Mary turns around and see Jesus standing there actually alive! She runs to the disciples and tells them the news. The disciples lock themselves in a house out of fear because they had no idea what was going on. Jesus finds the disciples and shows them his wounds. The disciples know that God gives you courage. Thomas did not believe that Jesus had risen when the disciples told him. He said he had to see it to believe it. There was a meeting and Jesus was present. Thomas then believed that Jesus resurrected.

This is the joy after the pain. He is risen!! We want to have greater faith so that we do not have to physically see God yet we can see his works in action.
Do not hide your faith do not be embarrassed by it! Be embarrassed by your sinful acts. But often for me at least we get caught in the moment and miss an opportunity to do something.

I finally starting to recover from an awesome week of jr high camp last week lol. It was a great week and Good was at work in many ways! Emma and Aaron hopefully you guys have caught up on your sleep and rest too.
One of the most important chapters in the whole Bible. Jesus has now beaten death and now because of that we have a chance to beat death and live with him forever if we believe in Him. The tomb is empty and Jesus is Risen!
I also liked the last few verses of the chapter when John wrote that Jesus performed other signs and miracles. It just makes me want to know more and wish there was more recorded in the Bible. Because Jesus did a lot more them just what is recorded in the Bible.

Always enjoy the one thing about reading John is that he is in a way humble and all. He is the one who Jesus loved but doesn't say himself and even though he out ran peter doesn't say it for sure about himself but we know. Again just like Peter- John didn't go inside we obviously don't know why but Peter just goes right in- no fear. The finally understood what Jesus was talking about! How great would it be to be hurting and then jesus appears- he is the ultimate comforter and does so in our lives today. One that is that Jesus hadn't ascended yet to God, seems strange? Does it take the long or like what has he been doing? Hey guess just peace be with you as I walk in your locked meeting? Would be terrified!!!! Like dustin said would wonder what else all happened that Jesus did and all would be rather interesting to know---
