This is a longer chapter and a lot of history to it as Stephen tells the council. He is put sort of on trial here and instead of coming out all offensive and getting upset with stuff just starts to share his story and the story of God. It took a while to sort of see his point but all these guys didn't have easy lives and faced many challenges along the way. We have to expect the same as believes if you look at all of them they faced difficulties and still managed to get through it all- with Gods help and protection. It wasn't always on their times as the promised land or building the temple but it was on Gods. The people around them at the time refused to see the truth and the light just as they did now and Stephen was trying to open their eyes to that concept that they were just "swinging and missing" No matter what Stephen never gets upset even when they do and just remains focused on God; a great example for us as well. We need to be like Peter in his boldness and Stephen in his patience and faith.

Stephen tries to open their eyes that they are just repeating history the Pharisees know scripture very well so this should easy for them to see. Be calm don't "flip out" once you try to take the task into your own hands you cannot do it anymore you need to have faith and do what God is leading you to do. Through death Stephen remained faithful and told God do not charge them with this sin that is incredible faith and love!

In this chapter Stephen is explaining his story and the story of God to the council. Stephen tries opening their eyes because they are just referring to history and repeating it. You can face many hard task and anything that is thrown your way because you have God and he is your guide and you should have faith in him! Once you give that up you can't accomplish anything anymore without the faith in God. Stephen remains faithful through mostly everything!
