Paul found men in Ephesus to become his disciples. Paul asked them if they have ever been baptized and the didn't really fully understand. He had 12 disciples. He told them they should believe in Jesus. After this they were baptized. Paul preaches at the synagogue in Ephesus. The Jews despised this also. After this Paul and his disciples decided to teach at a school named Tyrannus. Many Jews and Greeks have been saved here. Many people decided give up worshipping Greek Gods and exchange it for faith in Jesus and salvation through him. Still many of the Jews wanted to cause trouble again. The Jews once again started talking badly about Paul.

We see that we have to accept and recurve the Holy Spirit and allow it to enter our lives. These people were baptized by repentance and through John not through Jesus. We see that even Paul couldn't get everyone to believe and people didn't always listen to him. But he had his disciples and others that he was close with and talked and discussed with them these should our close friends! The ones that we are close to see the ones we need to talk to to discuss with them so that we can grow deeper with our friends. So great that line from the evil spirit and hope that it's never said of me, Jesus and Paul I know but who are you. We have to have our own faith and we have to live it and proclaim it!! We see out of this many came to know the Lord and turned from their ways. We see an uproar basically. From people worried about their job and money not much different than what we see today. People worry about the thing s of this world and are afraid of losing the world but we store up our gifts in heaven.

The Holy Spirit can only be received through Christ Jesus because Jesus controls the Holy Spirit. I like what you said Aaron do not be afraid to discuss God with friends we should take joy in telling others how to revive the Holy Spirit. I do not fully understand what the evil spirit means when he says I know Jesus and Paul but who are you I think he means does your life reflect Your faith in God. This man is afraid of changing his faith because of worldly pleasure/money.

A lot of events happen in this chapter. One is that Paul challenges disciples that got baptized under John's name. They were missing the whole point, John did not save but he was pointing people to Jesus. It shows us that only Jesus saves and if wet put our hope in anything else we are missing the point.
Also in the chapter, Paul heals people and does some amazing things by Gods power. There is also a brutal beating buy a man that had an evil spirit in him. And in the end of the chapter there is almost a riot because God's popularity was making people that built idols lose money
