The people of the council did not want Paul to continue preaching and spreading the word of God. They tried to condemn him. There was a group of about 40 men and they were against Paul. The men were so fearful that many of the people will believe the word of God. And the 40 men planned to kill Paul. They said they would not eat anything until Paul is dead. The 40 men asked the council of they could bring Paul back for questioning and they also plotted to kill him along the way. The chief captain heard about the 40 men wanting to plot against him and the captain sent him to Caesarea with soldiers to protect him because he wanted to save Paul.

I really like this first thing that Paul says and it is something that we should say as well- that we have lived before God with a clear conscience. We see a plot to kill Paul and you know to matter what we know that God is on our side and will guide us and protect us something we heard many times in Psalms. So even the plan it was told to someone in charge and God helped rescue Paul and send him with protection.

Paul knew these hardships were coming even when they did come he still follows through. and with God's protection they cannot do hurt him. We need to not question the Lord and what he says just do what he says!

Paul continues to preach the Word of Jesus and it is getting very violent. An argument breaks out that causes a huge uproar and people almost literally year Paul to pieces. The Roman officials send Paul to the barracks where he learns freon his nephew that people are planning to ambush him and kill him tomorrow. The Romans son he has done nothing wrong that deserves death send him to the governer.
