Just wanted to see your guys thoughts on the book of Acts.
Its more of a history book than anything but is extremely important as well into our faith and the development of the early church. There is two halves in acts the first is the the Church in Jerusalem and the second later half is the church moment and spreading.
I know for me i don know if its just where i have been at in things but didn't feel quite as into the book as normal. I know its good and has a lot of stuff and can related but same time it wasn't maybe quite as meaningful. I feel maybe the same to you guys as didn't write as much as you guys had been. A lot of more telling and history than anything and just wanted to see wha you guys thought about it.

At first it was cool I've never heard these stories before but then it seemed to get repetitive. Yes it was more of a historical account rather than raw teaching but, there still was a lot of good stuff in there just sometimes you had to "dig" for it. Like Psalms I did not feel like I got a ton out of every chapter.
Overall I liked the book it was just a lot different than all the other things we have read.
