Recently, I've been thinking about how some times we have too many things going on. Then we can't find any time to be with God or just take a break from the busyness of life. I've really been trying recently to find time for God.
The only place in the Bible I can think of that applies to this is the Sabbath. I think the Sabbath was God's way of saying take a break and remember him. Some take it so seriously that it has to be on Saturday or Sunday when we just need to rest.
two songs that go with this. Jonny Diaz breathe Tobymac Lose my soul

Yeah, its hard to take a step away from things. We see that even Jesus needs a get away and goes into the garden a lot at times. Just to be away from people and do what he needs to do. I know even for me yes to take time away is important but on the other side of things taking on too many tasks even if directed for God isn't always a good thing either

You need to find the balance between God time relaxation.

I will be honest- its hard for me. These last two weeks I have put the most into things I probably have my whole life. I feel great about it in some ways but the other day when reading over this doing my other daily readings, going through something else with Jess then having to plan out Sunday school and do our stuff for small group it got a bit overwhelming.
Yet i will say when i got done with it all if felt okay about it and knew i had spent my time well.

Yes, I agree that spring can be really busy for me because I have track, homework, and volleyball which can become an excuse for not having a consistent time with God everyday. I've learned through experience that I'm all excited to go to church camp and I go to church camp sing uplifting worship songs, learn valuable lessons, and fellowship with other believers yet after a couple of weeks when I get home that fire for God dwindles. Revelation 3:16 says, " I know your deeds that you are neither cold nor hot, I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm- neither hot nor cold- I am about to spit out of my mouth." Each day we should be thirsting to read more of God's Word and becoming more like Christ. We should be on fire for God each and every day!

Amen! Sometimes can feel the worst when we are going nowhere. We aren't doing much of anything. Not really looking to God but really not going away from him. If we stay on a straiight line its easy and we don't learn. With every uphill battle comes growth and usually a decline but that teaches you. So keep on staying on FIRE

Exactly, that's the hardest when your not going in the wrong direction or the right.
