We as leaders and christians need to know what is right from wrong, so that we can show others. If we don't really know then what good it is for others if we don't know and or practice it. I think vs4 is what a lot of people expect God to be. That we only call for God when we are in times of trouble, and we expect him to do everything that we need and want him to do. I also think a lot of people think of others like 5 and that they are nice to the ones that are nice to you but those that are mean you just choose to hate. We see how Jerusalem is acting and what is going on and doesn't look to much different then the world that we live in. We need to be filled with the Holy Spirit and able to take on these things and to lead by example to show others Gods love. We are called to be the leaders and when we are the leaders we have to lead the right way. When the more that we lead or the more power we have sometimes the harder it is to keep close and follow God. The more we get the more we often lose sight of God and forget what he has done for us.

Well said Aaron.
Leadership is important. God wants leaders that seek justice and God's ways. If not, in the end the leaders will have to pay the consequence.
The chapter talks about selfish leaders and how they really are only looking after their own needs and not the needs of the people. That displeases the Lord. As leaders we need to follow the Lord's ways and look after others that the Lord has put us in charge of.

The best way of leading is showing it in your life! You cannot neglect God until you need him you should devote your life to God. We want to treat everyone with the respect as if they were the most important person we have ever met. The leaders of Jerusalem are basically saying to God I want you to be on my side and protect me but I do not want to do anything you say. Then God says I am tired of that you are on your own.

Live your life by leading others. Teaching others what is right and what is wrong. As Christians we need to be the leaders. Think of others before yourself. Like everyone always says treat others the way you want to be treated. Being leaders we need to follow the Lord's way and live by him.
