I think often times we wish things would happen like this, and that we are healed instantly. Sometimes it takes time but even it it does take longer doesn't mean its not a miracle. Love just a couple things about most of the miracles and this is one of the first here told. 1) They first recognized Jesus and how he was different 2) They had faith 3) They approached and asked
Sometimes we can do the first two well but don't always do the asking/approaching/action required.
The Roman Officer story is one of my favorites i think. He has all the faith required and understands. Jesus said he would come but said no I have faith from here. I don't have to see it to believe it. I tell people for my living to go/do/ect and they do it because I am in charge. Lord you are in change and all I know is that whatever you speak will come true. Love the faith- he was taking a risk on it but trust that Jesus said who he was and could do what he promised.
more after work...

Yes God knows our needs but he wants us to tell him and build a two way relationship with him we need to approach him and cast our cares on him.
Yes the official realizes that Jesus can do anything he does not even have to be there to heal him. He had such faith and respect for Jesus that he to him that he was not worthy of Jesus entering his home. It's not always easy to follow Jesus but is pays off if you stick it through. Its funny to me that when Jesus want to sleep he knew the storm was going to happen but I guess he was just putting them through a test.
This one is just weird I do not understand why the demons wanted to go into the pigs and why Jesus could not just destroy them. although I guess he did destroy the demons it's just his time had not come yet. I would be mad if someone killed all my pigs.

I like this part of the cost of following and that some things have "homes" but the Son of God has no place to rest. I sort of wonder what this means. I think in some what that we won't know what God calls us to be or where he calls us to go. Nothing is safe, and nothing could be a "home" for us because of His calling. We could be lead wherever, and we could go to some places that we are unsure of and just really be tested to what we want to do. This concept about the dead is sort of strange I think and being asked to bury his father. Its family but I guess I get that why worry about the dead but focus on the ones that can have an influence over and help lead to Christ. Calming the Storm- we see that even though the disciples where close to Jesus it sort of shows that they didn't know the true way. The has maybe a little faith and didn't fully understand the scope of Jesus and what he could do. He could heal people and do stuff did they not think that water and waves and stuff would obey him as well?
