We see the sending of the 12 apostles. Jesus tells them to go and do lots of things, to heal, teach, cast our demons but make known that the kingdom of heaven is near. Dont take anything as you go and try to find people that are able to help you and that will help you. We are to be like sheep also, and yes this world is full of wolves ready to attack you and everything else. We are called to go out and follow God just like sheep follow their Shepard. It won't be easy but do it- for me. We are called to love God and put him first in our lives and essentially he will take care of the rest.

Jesus sends out his 12 disciples to heal, speak, and bring about the kingdom of God. The instructions Jesus gives them is really rely on him through all this. He tells them not to take extra things on this journey but trust that you will find a worthy person to stay with and that Jesus will provide that for them. He also tells them not to worry what to say if they get arrested but the spirit of God will give them what to say. He also tells them that there will be a lot of conflict and resistance in certain areas because of the message. Through all this, the disciples have to have extreme faith in Jesus.

I can imagine if I were one of the twelve this would sound sound cool but at the same time kind of scary I mean you would really have to trust God but for the most part I think I would be excited. If you live by faith you are going to look weird in this word it is going to want to spit you out and change you. If you follow God completely and totally you will Never "fit in" with this world so just let go of it and abandon it. I like the last verse if you see a follower of Jesus welcome them in with open, arms encourage them and pray for them.
