We have to make sure that our hearts and are mouths are together... we can't say one thing and then want to act or show it a different way. We need to look at our heart and really see if we are loving God and being pure to him. We can hear all sorts of good stuff but as we know its what comes out that people judge us by, especially when we don't have time to think or we get mad or upset about things. God works through our hearts, and this is how we are to know whether or not we are his true disciples. We can't just say we are "religious" and we need to follow the rules for the right reasons, we have to show it and speak it.
I think the faith of the gentile woman sort of shows us the pleading that sometimes we have to do. We can't just expect to ask, but have to have faith when we ask (James 1:5) and that we need to be persistent with God through it. It would be sort of great to see this first hand.... you hear about Jesus and all but I'm sure a lot would be like me... come on now, let me see this really. And as he travels people are healed and all but it has to be "done in front of them" for them to be amazed. Again Jesus cares for us and our needs and doesnt want us to suffer. He will provide for us especially when we remain close to him. -- Side note are the disciples crazy, we have already seen jesus feed 5000, do they not think that he can do it again? Its a one time deal?

Yeah, don't be a hypocrite and also do not got so caught up in tradition that you are doing it for the sake of tradition not its original purpose. I like verse 12 do they not understand Jesus loves offending the pharisees. The mind set the pharisees were in was God has this little set of laws for them and if they followed them they are golden they are loud and proud saying we are better than all of you because we obey God more than you. An issue with this is that although they study the bible intensely they looked past everything that told them they should be humble or anything they did not like. They are concentrated on the book not what God wants.
verses 26-27 seem random and do not make sense? we need to present our requests to God he knows them but he wants you to come to him. When you do come to him he will be glad to help you. Yeah, he literly did the same thing thing but I guess they got caught in the moment and did not see what he was about to do.
