This chapter is about how to treat widows (the unfortunate). To consider some one a widow they need to be a good person and meet the qualifications in v10. For younger widows don't be annoying (v13). This chapter was weird because it was so specific.

this chapter was very specific and sort of hard to follow for us i think at times. I think the main point it the respect and care for people. Went into detail about what to do and how to do it and who for but it all boils down to caring and taking care of people that maybe less fortune. We are called to do this and especially those that believe. I think of sort of like the care portal and what we have been doing there. I like v25 the most I think and that sometimes peoples good deeds are unnoticed at first (but not to God) and they will be brought to light later on.

I like what you guys said. In general it is about the people of God taking care of each other and how important that is.
But also the chapter talked the importance of taking care of your own close family.
The chapter also talked about taking care of widows like you guys talked about. In our church we have a few widows that meet those qualifications so we don't want to forget about helping them out and taking care of them when we can.
