Psalms 11- "In he Lord I take refuge. How then can you say to me: "Flee like a bird to your mountain." The way I understood that verse was the Lord hates the wicked. Therefore the Lord is righteous and loves justice.
Psalms 12- "Help, Lord, for the godly are no more." This meaning everyone lies to their neighbors. "I will protect the weak." The Lords words are pure for he does not lie. He will protect the weak and the poor. The wicked people use words to build themselves up over others to like hide their insecurities.
Psalms 13- "How long, Lord? Will you forget me forever?" From what I took from this verse is that the Lord does not answer prayers right away you just have to give it time. Put all your trust in God and he will take care of it for you!
Psalms 14- "The fool says in his heart, There is no God." Fool is meaning wicked people. The wicked think they are perfect in every way and then go boast about it. No one is perfect not even David in Gods eyes! God is with the righteous people who stay true to themselves.
Psalms 15- "Lord, who may dwell in your sanctuary?" The people that are righteous, blameless, and speak from their heart are the people that do good towards others and think more about others than themselves and are "needy".
Psalms 16-"Protect me, my God. I have no good beside you. God helps you through the times when you think you can't anymore! In your presence I am fulfilled with joy!

11. If you say you are a believer but your "not upright"(your life does not reflect what you say). If you do the Lord will know. You will be punished but righteous will be rewarded.
12. Sometimes we feel that we are alone in our faith. Everyone else thinks they have no need for God. They say I already have everything I ever wanted why do I need God. You need God because nothing on earth will matter at all.
13. By our selves we are helpless. Without God we are no mach for satin. But if we are strong in the Lord he(God) will triumph over evil.
14. "Fools say there is no God" they are too lazy and think if I don't believe in God I get to do what ever I want. They don't like the truth so they think up something else that they like better.
15. I don't think any body in human history has ever done this but if you did you would be 100% blameless.
16. This is a chapter to remember how great God is and THANK HIM SO MUCH!!

Like what Emma said about 13 so often times (especially in our culture) we are not patient.

11- If we trust in the Lord why do sometimes we try to flee from the problem? The Lord is out true judge he knows whats going on and will protect us if when we need it. If we remain righteous he will reward us
12- Reminds me of the world that we live in today. We ask for help because the world has become a tough hard place to live. People get to say whatever they want and voice their options just reminds me of social media. Then soon he will rise up and help us. Love 6 and just how much time and effort he takes in us like refining silver 7x over.
13- Think 13 was my favorite for me this time. Just the plead of forgetting us and how long we must struggle before God comes to us. Just love the tone switch from 1-4 and just the plea to help him then he honors God by saying but even though all this I still trust in you because your love never fails. Just love how simple it is but how great.
14- The honsety here is just great and that we can just sort of laugh about someone saying that there is God. He is the one looking down on us and can see everything that he has done and made. He is like puppet master just controlling what he wants to but even that he is fully in control and all knowing people still turn away from God.
15- He wants us to live pure and blameless lives those that are honoring and pleasing to God. Those who do the right thing and keep Gods promises.
16-Just like this one and just read it as a prayer.

yeah, I loved chapter 13 and 14. Psalms talks about a lot of stuff that I can relate to and see it just about everyday.

Another thing on 13 we are so impatient for the end it seems so far away. Really in the grand scheme of things and in Gods eyes this life is a split second.

Yeah Some i can really relate others i can understand and there have been a couple like uh.... okay. Just like that you can actually sense it and feel it. You can really feel the way David is talking like your there with him and just spurs on emotions! I have really enjoyed looking at them.

11- the Lord loves justice and is righteous. The Lord will not put up with evil and wickedness
12- truth is important to the Lord. It is important that we speak the truth with love because the Lord hates lies and dislikes flattering talk that is not true and is only said to be what someone else wants to hear.
13- Verse 5 and 6 I really liked. They have been true in my life.
14- "for the Lord is present in the company of the righteous" is a reminder to me that when we meet as fellow Christians that the Lord is among us
15- a righteous man speaks truth from his heart and no slander comes from his mouth. This reminds me of psalm 12 when it also talks about speaking the truth.
