78- Tell everyone you know of the great deeds of the Lord pass them from generation to generation. Is it not terrible when the only reason someone does not come to the Lord is because they do not know the law. So tell everyone of the great news of the Lord! How can you sin against someone so great who created the whole world. Why do we have to question so much "you saw the rock gushing with water yet you still ask that bread fall from the sky." God led you out of Egypt and parted the waters yet you still complain. Show some respect! If the Lord did not have mercy we would let all of his wrath out on us. Thank God that he forgives! We know what the Lords anger looks like you've seen him unleash it on the Egyptians. But what did he do to his people he saved them and safely guided them away from harm. Join Gods family and he will save you! DO NOT PUT GOD TO THE TEST!
79- God is punishing his people they did not trust him. Asaph is pleading that god have mercy on him and his people.
80- God will restore us because we are dirty. He will guild us because we can not walk alone. We will save us from what we deserve he will give us grace.
81- Give God our burdens and sins he will take them so we don't have to worry about them! I can relate if people would rust listen they might understand.
82- There is no other "god."!!! There is only one God who lives on forever and ever!

78- like that says will teach in stories and same way Jesus taught and believe is still one of the best ways for us to teach. It's easy for us to tell stories so why no do it? For me really important to see to teach these things to the next generation and make sure my kids not only follow Jesus but obey him. As tanner said all these great things great wonders and still asked for more?
My question for you guys look at what we have and really are we any different? Newer phone better clothes ect?
Whoop 72 verses and still not the longest one
79-let your compassion come amoung us- don't judge for the past sins but for me now lord and remember me and the temple I am for you. I wish I could pay back people 7x sometimes--- Ik that's bad but I will speak the truth
80-oh lord just lift us up again- and the people around me.
81-all noises and praises should be for our God and he be worshiped in all that we do. Don't get caught up in the false Gods remember it was me that brought you out of all this it was me who sent Jesus for you and I!!
82- God is righteous and ruler over all- he is the head above everything!!

78- I like this Psalm too Tanner. But yes it is a long one. Yeah the people were very in ungrateful and rebellious to the Lord. And it didn't end very well for them because the Lord punished them for that. Here were two other points that stuck out to me:
1. I liked verses 5 and 6 where it talked about how God made his laws for Jacob so that they would pass them down to their children. Having two kids, I want to pass my faith in Christ and God's ways down to my children. These verses to me are similar to Deut. Chapter 6.
2. In verses 36 and 37 it quotes "But then they would flatter him with their mouths, lying to him with their tongues; their hearts were not loyal to him, they were not faithful to his covenant." Basically this means that the Lord cats about our heart and our motivation with things. We can honor God with our months but we really need to believe it in our hearts.
A lot of good things to ponder on throughout the day in this Psalm.

Aaron, Yes 72 verses long for Psalm 78....and we still have Psalm 119 coming up which is even longer. I believe 119 is the longest chapter in the Bible. Maybe that one will be your favorite lol.

Yeah k believe that it is the longest and I believe that it probably won't be lol... It could be good it's like a book the longer doesn't mean better. No a ball game longer usually means better
