Chapter 8 is about how Jesus went to the temple after the feast to preach. He answered questions the people had. He told the people he was the son of God. In the morning Jesus went to the temple to preach. While in the middle of his preaching the Pharisees brought in a woman who had been caught practicing adultry. They asked Jesus what they should do to 'punish' the woman. After the Pharisees left Jesus told the woman he would not condemn her and she could leave and sin no more. The next day when Jesus went back to the temple he told the people he was going away where they can not follow him. People were confused as to if Jesus was gonna kill himself. He then said he was not of the world like the people standing before him. Jesus spoke to the people who believed that he lived by his word. Jesus then spoke to the people who did not believe him. The people believed in Abraham as their father. Jesus replied that if that were true they would do Abrahams works if that makes any sense. After the people heard this they then believed God was their father. The people accused Jesus- because they thought Jesus had the devil in living in him. Jesus said he spoke for God not the devil.

Love this story and this chapter: To you guys would ask about yourself and the way you see this in your lives. We need to remember that we are not innocent of anything so why do we try to hold others to this level. We must first look at ourselves. How can this help us with some of our relationships? The second is it says it was by the Law of Moses... but we don't "live by that law anymore." What law do we live by and how can we show it? There are many situations in our lives that we feel that we are trapped or don't know what to do. The thing we can learn by this is when all else fails and we don't know... we have love and if we show love then that is most of the time the right answer. Did you guys wonder what he wrote in the sand? or like why did we need to know that? and if it was in the story why don't we know?? If we show love isn't that what its about... he says neither do i. Go and sin no more. It wasn't a pass it was a teaching lesson. Sometimes we try to fix people or we condemn to quickly if we love them and lead by example its going to change their lives even more. Its a true teaching and life lesson. What is darkness? And just like the previous story people judge by human standards but God know all and has his. We see and we know that if we know Jesus then we also know the father.. we know the Trinity and that when we know one we know all three! Believe in the I AM! He is not of the world and we want to be the same that he says that- I do nothing on my own but only what the Father has taught me (28) To be a disciple you must remain in him! and he will remain in him. They don't understand the whole father and that Jesus is from the father and we all have the same father. And as Em said he spoke from God not the devil. Didn't understand the part about that we will never die With all these getaways be a fun reality show to watch

Verse 7 is awesome his word is so powerful.
Yes I am interested in what they wrote in the sand and why some manuscripts do not have that??
I agree instead of convicting people for the things you are just as guilty for pray for that person and yourself that you can both change. He is the light of the world the law cannot be a light. We do not live by the law of Moses live with Jesus in our heart and Jesus lived by the law of Moses. Jesus in us is our law the law of Moses is a good side effect of Jesus being in our hearts. We need Jesus without him sin will kill us he is our ONLY HOPE!
Darkness it the absence of light. Darkness has no power it is the absence of the power of God. God's power is everywhere so if you believe the darkness turns to light! Jesus gets his power from God his father this is why he has power! Jeusus is with God not the Devil.
What do you mean gateways?
