Paul tells sort of his Testimony- his run in with Jesus, congestion and a few things afterwards. He is just telling the truth that he used to be one that just tried to follow the law and now he practiced it by showing love and grace. We can try to keep all the laws but if we don't show love then it doesn't mean anything. They don't think that after this that he is fit to live, even though he had been following God in all that he does but was preaching to others and not always practice the law. We see Paul as a Roman Citizen gets treated different and we see that he should have had a trail. This is just a nice card for him to be able to play but just how special of a person Paul was and that the reason why he was chosen!

In this chapter Paul relates to how he was struck down from his horse and blinded by a bright light. He heard a voice ask why Paul was persecuting Jesus. Paul asked what he wanted from him. He was told to go to Damascus where he will learn what's required of him. Once he reached Damascus he met a man named Ananias. He made a miracle happen by giving Paul his soft back. At this point Paul vowed to preach and spread the word of God. While in Jerusalem, Paul was put in chains by the Roman guards. Paul appointed the Roman guard and told him he was a Roman citizen. The Roman guard was nervous because he had put a Roman citizen in chains. Paul was then taken away by a Roman Commander to settle the fines and charges against him.

Paul's testimony is a great story of a second chance. When Paul gets in trouble he always does the samething preaches then tells the people he is a roman citizen and they release him so they do not get in trouble with the government.

Like what all you said! You summed it up well.
This chapter does shed some light on Paul's testimony and how he came to believe in Jesus. Paul was a devote Jew, a Roman citizen, and a persecutor of Christians and yet God still used him in mighty ways for the Kingdom. So no matter what God calls everyone and want everyone to come to Jesus.
