Jesus in this chapter talks about John the Baptist and how he was to come before Jesus to prepare the way for him.
The one phrase from this chapter that stood out to me was "wisdom is proved right by her deeds." Jesus is the one who said that but it has a great meaning. People weren't sure who Jesus was yet, some were calling him a crazy but Jesus reminds them to look at his actions and they show that he is wise.
Wisdom is good to have but it has to be put into action. It does little good to have wisdom and not act upon it. If we are wise we will have the right actions. Just look at Jesus' life in the Gospels, he acted out his wisdom in all the situations he was in.
