6. Sadly we are worthless weak sinners who need to be punished. But through Christ or at that time sacrifice we can be saved from our agony. In this psalm David is asking God to save him from his wrongdoings. He is also telling evil not to mess with him because God is on his side(8-10)!
7. I like 11 God is vary strong and not someone you want to make angry. If you attempt to practice evil the lord will easily stop you. As 10 says if you are on Gods side he is also a vary powerful shield.
8. I really like this chapter if you just sit back and and admire all the things Gods made you will be astonished. We talked about this on Sunday.
9. The Lord judges all nations and with his great power can bring us to our knees(3-6 and 19-20).
10. Some people just want to say there is no God or he's not watching. When your at school and 10% of the class does something wrong usually if the teacher does not know who the ten percent are everyone gets in trouble. Gods not like this he knows exactly if someone is innocent nothing can be hidden from God. Really liked this chapter 10!
After all this what stuck out to me the most is that God is powerful and we defiantly want to be on his side.

Psalms 6- "my soul is in anguish" meaning suffering or pain. "I flood my bed with tears". Give everything to God and he will take care of it! "Take me away from the evildoers" for they do nothing but harm others.
Psalms 7- "save me from all who pursue me" for I take refuge in you (God). Refuge meaning saving/sheltering me from trouble or danger. "God has prepared his weapons against the wicked". God will give the people hard task that will be thrown at them.
Psalms 8- "Lord how majestic is your name in all the earth!" The people rejoice and teach others about the word of God.
Psalms 9- "I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds." Give all the glory to God in all that you do, then again tell others about the word of God! The Lord will judge the world with justice (behavior). Act yourself and don't change to fit into the "popular group". I do not like those kind of people!!
Psalms 10- "Why Lord, do you stand far off? Why do you hide yourself in times of trouble?" From what I understood from that verse God wants you to stand alone and see all that you can accomplish. "In his pride the wicked man does not seek him; in all his thoughts there is no room for God." The wicked man boast to much about himself basically "self worship", and not enough worship towards GOD!! PSALMS IS AWESOME AND I LOVE IT!

6- He is pleading with God to don't rebuke him and have some compassion on him. Oh this prayer that Im sure we have thought to ourselves many times for God to just spare us his anger. His guilt conscience is speaking up and is just trying to plead with God to rescue him. I can just think of the times when I have tried to plead with him for when haven't don't what I should have and just can't sleep and just want to cry over the mistake.
7-Just like this because he is trying to reach out to God to save him, protect him. If i have don't something to displease you (3) its like let me know please so I can fix it. Then in 6 is tone switches to almost a angry cry against the people that are "after" him. Its like when I think of someone doing wrong to me- its like God just be here for me and "punish" them make this thing right and do something against them. Thats the way I see it. Its Gods side or well....
8- Now he is like happy- I find it interesting how his mood is changing and the variety of moods he has displayed in these 3. Looking at what God has done and giving him the respect and offering reverence and acknowledging that he is the one in charge.
9- We need to praise and be happy tell people of the great things he has done and to be filled with joy. This is the way we should approach out lives and just be filled with the Holy spirit. He will be a fair judge of the world so don't let the world judge you! Those who know God know who you really are and will think you as good so don't let the "world" judge. Love 13-14 and that even though we maybe mocked for sharing about God he asks to be spared it and that we can just praise him.
10- I really like this one and that he is wondering why God is so far away and can really relate to that in certain points in my life. I have sort of wondered where God was! Love 4-5 and thats what the world things that they are too proud for what they can do or what they believe and forget about God and think he is "dead" they aren't looking for him and can't see him. Just really like this one and what it says as a whole can really relate to this one the most. I think back to what Pastor Mike said on sunday about a lion and lurking waiting for the perfect time to pounce.

I like what both of you said esp for 10. I think we all liked 10 the most. Tanner and saying about how most aren't going to be on our side and Emma in standing alone. We are called to stand alone with God and sometimes it really does feel like we are alone and want to plead with God to help us and come by ourside. Love your comment that God know if you are innocent or guilty and we need. Just love how true and personally Chapter 10 is! And sounds like you guys can really relate as well.
What other stuff or thoughts you have about 10. Since it seems to be our favorite lets continue talking about it.

Yes, it seemed as if on every chapter he is talking about how he can punish us then switching to how he can protect us.
More 10- some people think they are "invincible" from God they are "untouchable." They say I can do what I want I have all my life to fix my walk with God. How do you know when the end will come! God knows your every move, every sin. If waiting you are till the end to be saved YOUR NOT SINCERE! Live every moment of your life like God is standing next to you BECAUSE HE IS!!!

I have to say Psalms has been one of the more time consuming and harder books that we have read. But when I'm done I just feel this INCREDIBLE WONDERFUL JOY THAT I WANT TO SHARE WITH EVERYONE I KNOW! Even though sometimes we focus so much on punishment. Just remember there is a great great gift in hevan!
When I say wonderful joy I mean I am almost bouncing up and down in my seat.
